Oyster Mushroom Cultivation Workshop

Join us for a hands-on morning of mushroom cultivation! We'll dive into the fascinating world of fungi and learn how to grow delicious oyster mushrooms at home using a simple bucket method. Together we'll layer straw and oyster mushroom spawn into a bucket, learning about moisture, airflow, and the conditions that fungi love. Oyster mushrooms are one of the easiest and most rewarding varieties of gourmet mushrooms to grow. Mushroom spawn and straw are not provided during this workshop, but you'll go home with the know-how needed to replicate it at home! Bring a 5 gallon bucket with a lid if you wish to borrow our drill to prepare it.

No experience needed, all materials provided.

Adults: $10-20 per person sliding scale

Children: $5-10 per child sliding scale
