Blooming Book Club
An in-person Book Club at Blooming B-Street Learning Commons, themed around the land we live on and the community we build around it.
When: Twice a month, schedule to be decided by a vote
Where: B-Street Learning Commons. Lovely outdoor space if weather allows, cozy indoor space for rain-friendly meetings.
Cost: Free. Tea and light refreshments provided. Bring a snack to share if you'd like!
How It Works
We read one book at a time in a given month. The book is chosen by a group vote.
During meetings, we’ll have time to meet, pour tea, and chat before diving into a casual discussion. Our host Anna will prepare discussion questions to help guide conversation as needed, but the format is casual. There will be time after to visit, chat, and explore the gardens.
First meeting - We’ll discuss the first half of the book
Second meeting - We’ll discuss the second half of the book and propose books for the following month
We encourage all those so sign up to commit to the readings! Although if you don’t finish, please come and enjoy the discussion anyway.

Questions?
Is there a max group size?
Yes, we will cap each cohort at 10 participants to keep ensure everyone has a chance to speak during meetings.
Where do I get the book - do I need to buy it?
Participants will supply their own books. No need to buy it, most books can be rented through the local library. ThriftBooks is a great online resource for buying used books.
